Q. Can we pay with a Purchase Order?
A. Yes! Add items to your shopping cart as if you planned to purchase through the web. Then use our Purchase Order Form to submit the proper info to us. Its always a good idea to call first if you'd like to use a PO.
Q. How do you measure the rotation angle of a Wild Swerve module?
A. There are two good options that we suggest for measuring module rotation angle:
1. A continuous rotation single turn potentiometer. We have used this continuous pot in the past.
2. The preferred option, though a more costly one, would be to use an absolute encoder. Like this.
We also recommend using a helical beam coupling to attach your pot/encoder to the steering output shaft. In this drawing you can see how to attach the pot/encoder and coupling using a simple plate and standoff.

Q. Is the Universal Chassis ready to be used out of the box?
A. The Universal Chassis is not quite ready to be used straight out of the box. Many of the components, especially the laser cut tubes will need some minor finishing before assembly. This includes deburring a few edges and possibly reaming some bolt holes. All items are shipped unassembled and
without lightening features. They are intended to be a
starting point for your projects, not a complete engineering solution. If you are interested in a fully assembled unit or require special features please contact us.
Q. Do I need a Paypal account to purchase your products?
A. No. Paypal hosts e-commerce for Team 221 LLC., offering a trusted secure location for our transaction.
